FRAME DRUMS ITALIA FESTIVAL
Hello!
We are excited to present the new frame drum/percussion festival 'Frame Drums Italia' (FDI) which will take place from the 23 to 27 June in the splendid medieval setting of the hills of Montelparo (AP) in central Italy, (the Marche region). We will be playing, studying and having fun in a beautiful monastry creating an international and multicultural community uniting experts, total beginners and amateurs who all share our passion for frame drums and frame drum culture. What better than the famous hospitality, food, wine and sunshine of Central Italy, set in the context of shared music, culture and performance at the highest level of technique and expression?
Within the festival program you will find the full range of activities, including workshops for both beginners and intermediate levels, master classes, music therapy sessions, frame drum makers sale and exhibitions, concerts, open sessions and all in the presence of some of the most respected names in the frame drumming and percussion scene.
