Jacaré project stands amongst jazz, samba-chôro, flamenco and world music compositions. Led by the combos’ two songwriters Cristina Renzetti and Rocco Casino Papia, this bands’ music represents an original and still very respectful melting pot of all the above mentioned influences.
  In May 2007 Jacaré won the Award Premio Iceberg 2007 for the italian’s new breed of authors due to the following jury motivation: "Jacaré’s 'work is highly creative  and its live act is of first class speaking both as single musicians and as a whole”.   In July 2007 was released Jacaré’s first cd titled Il Primo Passo (The first step) produced and available from internationally renown Irma Records label.
  This recording has immediately captured the attention of the main italian media, and Jacaré has been invited to play and showcase its music at Radio Rai 3, Radio Rai International and at the Roxy Bar tv-show.
